About Us

Hi, I’m Kara, and I opened Madelynn Grace in December 2006. I have a huge love for fashion. And I have always wanted to own my own business. I have had tons and tons of different ideas. But, always gone back to this sort of thing. When I turned 21, I started doing purse parties and just loved it. I thought it was so fun. The whole process was really fascinating to me. I thought maybe one day I could possibly do something similar. I think a lot about that time of my life.

Back when I was 15 is when I first really though about business. About owning my own business that is. I started taking Marketing classes and joined DECA. I got really involved in the two. They both were really fun, but I learned so much. I think it DECA is truly a great program for anyone who is interested in business of any kind. Anyway, I think of myself as more of an Entrepreneur, just because I don’t know if this is what I will do with the rest of my life. I love to create and develop new ideas. Maybe I will start some other kind of small business too! I love new ideas, but for now this works for me, and I love it!

I recently had a baby. She was born in January her name is McKinley. I just love her. She is so great. She is so beautiful. She just makes me so happy everyday. She smiles and laughs and she can just do all these little things. She changes every day. My husband and I were married 2 years in April. Marriage is fun. It has been really the best time of my life. I mean I always have a pal around! We are always laughing. Sure marriage is a lot of work. But I love him so much. I’m a lucky girl. So, I love the family of 3 that we are. I want a dog really bad. We just got rid of our cats Wally and Marvin. We want to have another baby. One more. I’m ready for another one, but I think we have to wait a while! We’ll see….
